Welcome to The Terra Class LLC — a space for mindful movement, education, and community connection.

This page outlines our shared agreements, values, and policies to ensure clarity, respect, and inclusivity across classes, programs, workshops, events, and other activities offered by The Terra Class LLC, including live in-person, live online, and prerecorded formats.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Terra Class LLC, we strive to balance fairness, accessibility, and sustainability. These guidelines help us maintain clarity and integrity while honoring both your commitment and ours.

Modification of Terms

The Terra Class LLC reserves the right to modify these policies, guidelines, and accessibility statements at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Unless otherwise stated, changes will apply prospectively from the date they are posted.

Online Classes, Prerecorded Content, Livestreams, and Subscriptions

• • All digital class purchases, prerecorded programs or series, livestream access, and subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased and access has been made available, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
  • You may cancel your ongoing subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will stop future renewals or recurring charges, while access will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • Recurring charges, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before purchase as applicable.
  • If The Terra Class LLC must cancel a scheduled live online class or livestream, participants will receive a full refund or credit toward a future offering.
  • If a technical problem attributable to The Terra Class LLC prevents access to purchased digital content, please contact theterraclass@gmail.com so we can work to restore access or provide an appropriate resolution.

In-Person Workshops and Events

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before a scheduled event may receive a credit toward a future workshop, based on availability.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, as space and materials are reserved in advance.

• If The Terra Class LLC cancels a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, illness, or venue issues), all participants will receive a full refund or the option of a rescheduled date or future credit, when available.

Special Circumstances

We understand that life happens. If an emergency prevents your attendance, please contact theterraclass@gmail.com. Exceptions are reviewed with compassion and fairness whenever possible.

Photo & Media Release Policy

The Terra Class LLC may occasionally capture photographs or short video clips during live in-person or live online classes, workshops, and community gatherings to celebrate movement, learning, and connection.

Your Choice & Consent

Attending or participating in a class, workshop, program, or event does not by itself constitute consent to promotional use of your image, likeness, or voice.

When media may be captured, participants will be given an opportunity to provide or decline consent. If you provide consent, The Terra Class LLC may use approved photographs, video clips, audio, or other media containing your image, likeness, or voice for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes, including social media, newsletters, and the website.

If you prefer not to appear in any photos or videos, simply notify your instructor or photographer. Your wishes will always be honored to the extent reasonably possible, and you will not be intentionally included in promotional media without your consent.

Livestreams & Social Platforms

When participating in Instagram Live, YouTube, or other livestream platforms, your username, comments, or engagement may be publicly visible. These platforms operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies. The Terra Class LLC does not control how third-party platforms collect, process, store, or use information. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Requesting Removal

If an image or video featuring you is shared and you would prefer it removed, please email theterraclass@gmail.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove it from channels controlled by The Terra Class LLC.

Community Guidelines

The Terra Class LLC community is a place to reconnect with your body and with others in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you participate online, in person, or through social platforms, we ask that everyone honor the following shared values:

1. Respect & Kindness

Approach yourself and others with compassion. Every body, experience, and background is welcome here subject to any eligibility requirements for a particular class or program.

2. Non-Judgmental Communication

Share reflections and insights mindfully. Please avoid offering unsolicited medical, physical therapy, or therapeutic advice to others in chats, comments, or conversations.

3. Confidentiality

Respect the privacy of fellow participants. Please do not share another participant’s personal story, comments, images, or identifying information outside of a class, workshop, or community space without their permission. While The Terra Class LLC asks all participants to respect confidentiality, we cannot guarantee the actions of other participants.

4. Inclusivity

We celebrate diversity. Discriminatory, harmful, or exclusionary language or behavior will not be tolerated in any form.

5. Professional Boundaries

Participation in The Terra Class LLC does not establish a patient–provider, therapist–client, or physical therapy relationship. All movement and education are offered for general informational and educational purposes only and are not intended as individualized medical, therapeutic, or professional advice. 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Terra Class LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from to or participation in classes, programs, workshops, events, videos, prerecorded content, or other activities or materials offered by The Terra Class LLC.

Nothing in these policies is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

The Terra Class LLC is committed to creating a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment for all participants, both online and in person. We believe movement and learning should meet you exactly where you are.

Online Accessibility

We continuously work to improve accessibility by:

• Providing captions or transcripts when possible

• Using clear, high-contrast visuals and readable fonts

• Working toward navigation that supports commonly used accessibility tools

• Regularly improving content based on feedback and accessibility standards

In-Person Accessibility

For in-person classes and workshops, we aim to:

• Offer adaptable movement options for varying mobility levels and life stages

• Choose venues that are physically accessible whenever possible

• Maintain a sensory-aware, trauma-informed, and body-positive environment

Severability

If any provision of these policies is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law 

These policies and guidelines shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
