Purpose of The Terra Class LLC

The Terra Class LLC provides educational, movement-based experiences designed to support body awareness, connection, and functional well-being. All online classes, in-person workshops, livestreams, recordings, and written materials offered by The Terra Class LLC are created for general education and mindful movement exploration only.

The Terra Class LLC does not replace individualized medical care, physical therapy, diagnosis, or professional healthcare advice. Participants are encouraged to consult a physician, midwife, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new movement or exercise program.

Not Physical Therapy or Medical Care

Although The Terra Class LLC was founded and is led by a licensed physical therapist, participation in any offering — whether online or in person — does not constitute physical therapy services, medical treatment, or a clinical evaluation.

Engagement with The Terra Class LLC content does not establish a patient–provider, therapist–client, or healthcare relationship. All information and instruction provided through The Terra Class LLC are intended for educational and informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or therapeutic recommendation.

If you are experiencing pain, injury, pregnancy-related concerns, postpartum recovery needs, or other medical conditions, please seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Participant Responsibility

Movement, exercise, and somatic practices involve inherent risks.

By choosing to participate in offerings provided by The Terra Class LLC, you acknowledge and agree to:

• Move mindfully and within your personal limits

• Modify movements or rest as needed

• Take full responsibility for your own participation, choices, and well-being

The Terra Class LLC, its owner, instructors, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages that may occur as a result of participation in any class, workshop, livestream, or online session.

Baby / Child Presence

If you choose to have a baby or child present during participation, you acknowledge that the baby/child is not a participant, and you assume full responsibility for the baby/child’s supervision and safety at all times.

The Terra Class LLC is not responsible for any injury or harm to a baby/child present during participation.

The Terra Class LLC may offer optional suggestions for incorporating a baby/child into certain movements (for example, holding a baby during a functional squat), but doing so is not required and is always the participant’s choice and responsibility.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate to hold or incorporate a baby/child during movement and for maintaining a safe environment. If you choose to hold a baby/child during movement, move slowly and stay stable; avoid balance-challenging movements and discontinue immediately if you feel unstable or if the baby/child shows distress.

Livestreams and Social Media

The Terra Class LLC may host educational content and livestreams on third-party platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, or similar services. These platforms operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies.

Any engagement (including comments, likes, or messages) may be publicly visible, and The Terra Class LLC does not control or store data collected by these third-party platforms.

The Terra Class LLC is not responsible for how information is collected, stored, or used by external platforms.

In-Person Workshops and Events

During any in-person class, workshop, or event offered by The Terra Class LLC, participants are encouraged to move mindfully and honor their body’s boundaries, communicate any limitations or concerns to the instructor, and respect the safety and experience of other participants.

Participation in an in-person offering does not create a clinical, therapeutic, or healthcare relationship. All instruction is provided in a non-diagnostic, educational manner.

By participating, you release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Terra Class LLC, its owner, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating.

This release extends to any claims by your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law

This disclaimer and any dispute arising from participation in offerings provided by The Terra Class LLC shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge specific risks inherent in movement-based activities, including but not limited to falls, muscle strain, joint injury, and other physical discomforts, and voluntarily assume all such risks.

Parental Consent for Minors

If a participant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide written consent and agree to the terms of this disclaimer before participation.

Data Privacy

While The Terra Class LLC may use third-party platforms for livestreams and social media, any personal data collected directly by The Terra Class LLC will be stored securely and used solely for communication and administrative purposes related to offerings.

The Terra Class LLC will comply with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where relevant.

If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
