While this class is designed with prenatal in mind, it is open to all fitness levels. Guided by Emily Hughes, PT, DPT, we’ll explore connection to the pelvic floor through breath and carry that awareness throughout the sequence. Together, we’ll build gentle heat in the body through abdominal support and hip mobility, weaving in moments of stretching and somatic movement (as comfortable) to create balance. You’re always welcome to modify as needed, especially as we explore balance toward the end of class - “springing” into the Spring season!
For this class, you will need:
A block or sturdy book, a bolster (or pillow on a block or sofa), a light/medium resistance band, and optionally one ~8 lb weight. You may also find a wall or chair helpful for support, especially during balance work.
