Guided by Emily Hughes, PT, DPT, this class explores using weights to connect to your center, hips, and upper body in a meditative, intentional, and intuitive way. This class is open to all fitness levels, including postpartum. You’re invited to take any modifications that feel supportive and to listen to your body’s unique limits today.

Please note: Beginning at 11:06, I shifted the breath cue on the fly. Even as a PT, I’m always listening and responding to movement. Feel free to tune into that second cue - it may offer a different sense of support through your center. We are human, and the process is allowed to be imperfect!
For this class, I am using a set of 8 lb weights (with 2 lb wrist weights) and a set of 15 lb weights. These are simply reference points - feel free to choose what feels supportive for your body today. And don’t forget a cozy beverage to enjoy between sets!

While this class is designed with prenatal in mind, it is open to all fitness levels. Guided by Emily Hughes, PT, DPT, we’ll explore connection to the pelvic floor through breath and carry that awareness throughout the sequence. Together, we’ll build gentle heat in the body through abdominal support and hip mobility, weaving in moments of stretching and somatic movement (as comfortable) to create balance. You’re always welcome to modify as needed, especially as we explore balance toward the end of class - “springing” into the Spring season!
For this class, you will need:
A block or sturdy book, a bolster (or pillow on a block or sofa), a light/medium resistance band, and optionally one ~8 lb weight. You may also find a wall or chair helpful for support, especially during balance work.

Designed to mobilize the joints and create space, this session is perfect as a standalone morning flow, a midday movement break, or a warmup for your favorite activity. This class is open to all fitness levels, including prenatal and postpartum. An optional yoga block may be used. Feel free to modify in a way that feels most supportive for your body.
Note: This session includes a gentle belly massage near the end. If you are pregnant, you may choose to skip this portion or explore it with very light pressure, following what feels comfortable for your body.

Move through these patterns in a gentle yet engaging way. No props necessary. Open to all fitness levels, including prenatal and postpartum.

This session includes time on your back and side-lying positions, along with gentle abdominal work. I invite you to move in a way that feels most supportive for your body—this may include adjusting your positioning (such as elevating your upper body with pillows), reducing intensity, or skipping certain movements. You might also choose to focus on your breath and a sense of gentle connection through your center, rather than effort or intensity, at any time.
